New Slayer Album In The Works?

In a recent interview with Revolver, Slayer’s guitarist Kerry King has dropped that there are already a couple of songs that are pretty close to being finished for the next album.

King says that there are “about six to eight songs” that are all but done, some even with vocals and lead instruments. He doesn’t dare to say the new album will be for next year, though, because these things are hard to estimate and he doesn’t want to make a liar out of himself by giving the fans hope. After all, it’s not absolutely sure these songs will even make it to the next album.
