‘The Strangers Trilogy’ Announced For 2024, First Look At NY Comic Con

Lionsgate is reviving The Strangers with a spine-chilling trilogy, The Strangers Trilogy, set to hit screens in 2024.

Breaking the silence, Lionsgate announced a first-look preview at New York Comic Con this October. The ominous tweet from their official Twitter account reads, “Shut your window. Lock your door. They are coming. Get your first look at #TheStrangersTrilogy at NYCC with director Renny Harlin and producer Courtney Solomon on October 12th at 3 pm.”

As the shadows of anticipation loom, fans are left to speculate about the release strategy for this trio of terror. So far the cast will feature Madelaine Petsch (Riverdale), Froy Gutierrez (Hocus Pocus 2), Rachel Shenton (The Silent Child), Ema Horvath (Rings of Power) and Gabe Basso (Hillbilly Elegy)

Based on the 2008 cult horror franchise, the story follows Petsch and Gutierrez on a nightmarish journey when their car breaks down in Venus, Oregon, forcing them to spend a harrowing night in a secluded Airbnb, tormented by three masked strangers.

Renny Harlin (Cliffhanger, Deep Blue Sea, Die Hard 2) will direct from a script by Alan R. Cohen and Alan Freedland (The Freak Brothers, Due Date).

The Strangers Trilogy follows the 2008 original and its 2018 sequel, The Strangers: Prey at Night, delivering thrills and terror in 2024. Stay tuned for more updates as we draw closer to the chilling reveal, and be sure to check out the teaser imagery that will send shivers down your spine.
