Evanescence Announce 20th Anniversary Edition Of ‘The Open Door’

Evanescence have officially announced a remastered, expanded 20th anniversary deluxe edition of their hit sophomore album, The Open Door.

Set for release on November 6 via Craft Recordings, the special collection arrives on 2-LP, CD, and digital formats. The edition pairs the remastered original tracklist—featuring classics like Call Me When You’re Sober, Lithium, and Sweet Sacrifice—with four bonus tracks, including fan-favorite rarities If You Don’t Mind, Together Again, and The Last Song I’m Wasting On You, alongside a previously unreleased demo version of Good Enough.

Reflecting on two decades of the record’s legacy, frontwoman Amy Lee shared:

“The Open Door was such an important time for me, pushing boundaries and feeding my desire to experiment and grow. I wanted to connect on a deeper level, and fought for a future for the music I loved. It was beyond worth it. The fact that it resonates with so many people 20 years later means so much to me.”
