Linkin Park Announced As First Headliner For Rock Am Ring & Rock Im Park 2026

Rock Am Ring and Rock Im Park, Germany’s premier twin rock festivals, have kicked off their 2026 editions with a bang, announcing Linkin Park as the first headliner and shattering ticket sales records. Within just 60 minutes of the Early Bird ticket sale launch today, over 45,000 tickets for Rock Am Ring were sold, with Utopia Stage Camping tickets completely sold out in the same timeframe.

The headliner announcement, made during the final sets of the festivals’ 40th anniversary celebrations on June 6th, 2025, was accompanied by a dazzling display of lasers and fireworks. Linkin Park, returning with new co-vocalist Emily Armstrong, will headline the festivals for the sixth time, following iconic performances in 2001, 2004, 2007, 2012, and 2014. Their 2026 appearance marks their first at the Nürburgring since 2014. Mike Shinoda expressed the band’s excitement: “Rock am Ring and Linkin Park share a special history. It’s wild to think 2026 will be our sixth time at this festival! We’re honored and thrilled to continue our legacy in this new era.”

Matt Schwarz, CEO of PRK DreamHaus and eventimpresents, highlighted the emotional weight of the band’s return: “Linkin Park is tied to unforgettable festival moments that hit deep. Having them headline in 2026 means so much to us, and we’re excited to present our fans with such an incredible act.”

Festival tickets for Rock Am Ring and Rock Im Park, scheduled for June 5–7, 2026, at the Nürburgring and Nuremberg respectively, are currently priced at €239 in the active pricing tier.
