Parisian post-hardcore quartet The Prestige have unveiled their heavy new single and music video, ‘Noire Nuit’, alongside the announcement of their upcoming album, Isthmos. The new record is set to be released on April 24th, 2026, via Banshies.
According to drummer Thibaut Cavelier, the song’s dragging, hesitant beat is meant to feel like “mud that’s hard to move through,” simulating the physical weight and clumsiness of exhaustion. However, the track also introduces a luminous, cleanly sung central refrain that cuts through the darkness.
Recorded live and mixed by Amaury Sauvé, Noire Nuit paves the way for what promises to be a deeply introspective, complex, and demanding new album.
Isthmos arrives on all streaming platforms on April 24th.
