Demi Lovato has exciting news for fans as they announce their upcoming album Revamped, featuring rock reworkings of their popular hits. The album, set to be released on September 15th, will consist of ten tracks that breathe new life into Lovato’s biggest tunes with a rock twist.
The singer has previously treated fans to rock versions of Heart Attack and ‘Cool for the Summer, which were first showcased during their HOLY FVCK Tour last year. Now, for their latest single, Lovato has collaborated with legendary guitarist Slash on a track originally released six years ago as the lead single from their sixth studio album, Tell Me You Love Me.
Expressing their excitement about the new song and working with Slash, Lovato stated, “Slash is an iconic artist who I’ve been a fan of for years. It’s an absolute honor to have such a legend like him on the rock version of ‘Sorry Not Sorry.'” They further explained the concept behind ‘Revamped,’ saying, “With REVAMPED, I wanted to pay homage to the songs that resonated the most with fans and played a big role in my career by breathing an exciting new life into them.”
Embracing their passion for rock music, Lovato aims to bring a fresh perspective to their earlier pop material by infusing it with punk-rock flair. Following the punk campaign they embarked on in 2022, Lovato continues to explore the punk genre, seeking to create cohesive setlists for their fans. During an interview on SiriusXM Jose Mangin‘s Metal Ambassador Podcast, Lovato revealed their desire to collaborate with artists like Corey Taylor and bands like Knocked Loose, expressing hope for possible collaborations on Revamped.
While the full tracklist of Revamped is yet to be unveiled, fans eagerly await the release of this highly anticipated album. In the meantime, the album is available for pre-order and pre-save, offering a glimpse into Lovato’s innovative and boundary-pushing musical journey.
