In between doing an amazing job every night in the Broadway show ‘Kinky Boots’, Brendon Urie has found the time to sit down with Entertainment Weekly for a chat in which he opened up about the future of Panic! At The Disco.

After going into detail about his Broadway experience and how his role in ‘Kinky Boots’ came to be, the subject of his band comes up and after jokingly elaborating on the idea of turning a Panic! At The Disco album into a Broadway musical (“‘Death of a Bachelor’, and make it like a Sinatra-type play, or like a kid who worships Sinatra or something.”), he explains what he actually has in mind for the band.

As he reveals, new music might already be on the horizon:

“When we have the two-a-days, I don’t leave. I stay there and work on music and tour ideas. I’ll watch a movie and write lyrics or whatever.”

And of course, the life-changing experience of his glorious Broadway debut will find impact him from now on, which does not exclude his future music:

“There’s no way I can’t let some of the Broadway production seep into it. That’s something that’s Panic! always done, we’ve always wanted to create that production show, just mimicking Cirque du Soleil and Broadway shows, so I think that’s going to continue and only get better now that I’ve had some hands-on experience with it. I can’t wait for a live show and an album. I think it’s just going to be a lot of fun.”

We’re definitely excited to hear how that plays out!
