Hozier returned to The Netherlands to perform in the AFAS LIVE in order to promote the most recent album ‘Wasteland, Baby’. Armed with an impressive discography, some incredible hit singles such as ‘Take Me To Church’ and ‘Almost (Sweet Music)’ and an entire stage filled with incredible musicians, Hozier’s performance was something else entirely.
With a stage filled with musicians and back-up singers, every sound made this evening was live and happening, rather than backtracked. The band, made up of both women and men worked well together, and the voices of the vocalists blended in together very nicely.
