Bring Me The Horizon Perform With MaPhra at Sonic Temple
Fans at the Sonic Temple festival in Ohio got a huge surprise this weekend. Bring Me The Horizon invited viral star MaPhra onto the stage to sing with them.
The two acts performed a duet of the song Doomed. This track is the opening song from the 2015 album That’s The Spirit. The crowd was very excited to see them together, as MaPhra recently became famous for her own version of the song.
MaPhra first gained attention online earlier this year when she posted a cover of Doomed. Her video quickly went viral, getting over 21 million views on YouTube. The cover was so popular that it even reached the top of the Billboard charts for hard rock songs.
On stage, lead singer Oli Sykes and MaPhra shared the vocals, creating a special moment for everyone watching. This was MaPhra‘s second time appearing at a big festival, after she recently performed with the band Ice Nine Kills at another event.
MaPhra has also covered songs by other well-known bands like Spiritbox, Bad Omens, and Linkin Park. While she is famous for these covers, she told fans that she is currently working on her own original music.
For those who missed the show, videos of the live duet are now being shared across social media, showing the great energy between Bring Me The Horizon and their special guest.
