When the teasing started for the 10th year anniversary version of ‘The Black Parade’, fans all over the globe immediately assumed that a possible reunion tour could be happening.
This however was very quickly proven wrong, as MCR released a statement in which they clarified what the teasing was about.
Even with the discouragement about a reunion tour in the statement, the question remained, how do the members from My Chemical Romance look towards a possible reunion tour?

In a recent interview, ex-MCR frontman Gerard Way was asked this question by Buzzfeed.
He responded with the following:

You know, there aren’t any plans for a reunion, or a tour, or anything like that. I guess what is just really cool, you know, the relationships between the people in the band are really solid. I think everybody misses each other, and we definitely miss playing with each other — but at the same time, everybody is really happy with their lives. And we’re able to recognize that My Chemical Romance was this one period, this moment in time that we’re really proud of. But I think the most important thing is that everybody is happy creating, and doing what they want to do, and have really great relationships with each other.

It’s good to hear that the relationship between the members of My Chemical Romance is good and that they remain good friends.

Perhaps, somewhere down the road, they will be touring together once again. Time will tell!
