It’s been confirmed by now that ‘Heavydirtysoul’ is the last single from Twenty One Pilots’ latest record ‘Blurryface’, marking the ending of a very important era for the band.
With the release of their latest album ‘Blurryface’, Twenty One Pilots have grown massively in popularity and are now one of the biggest music groups in the world.

They’re closing out the Blurryface era with one final tour, taking the band through the United States of America and afterwards a few shows in Australia.
Eventhough these shows will mark the end of the ‘Blurryface’ era, Twenty One Pilots will perform at a few festivals this summer as a headliner.

On the trail, the duo is being interviewed by a whole lot of radio stations again.
Of course those interviewers will repeatedly ask about what Twenty One Pilots will be up to next. What can we expect from a future record? Will ‘Blurryface’ still be in the picture?
Circa News had the same question, and asked the duo about their next record, in which Tyler Joseph revealed that he too has not decided yet whether ‘Blurryface’, the fictional character, will be put to bed yet. Perhaps he’ll be playing a role in the next album aswell.

Tyler Joseph continues to explain his love for writing music lays with the fact that he can tell a story in his songs, but what’s going to be discussed on the next record hasn’t quite been figured out yet.

Whether Blurryface died or not is still up in the air and we’re going to have to wait and see if he returns for Twenty One Pilots’ next album!

Check out the fragment of the interview in which this topic was discussed in full in the video below.
