Here’s a weird story for you all:

A man was arrested in Florida as he allegedly used the name of Nickelback’s drummer Daniel Adair to order musical gear with a worth of 25.000 dollar. The TC Palm reported this earlier this week! The man in question is a 45-year old man who’s been arrested on Tuesday night for 2 felony fraud-related charges.

The Nickelback team was approached to confirm the order, at which point it became known that Daniel Adair himself didn’t order anything and that of course lead to an investigation.

Police officer made the following statement regarding the incident:

“Essentially, when he placed the order in Austria, I guess at this level of band you have a lot of people that work for you. One of the people in his group thought it was out of the ordinary when they were contacted to confirm the order. He identified himself as Daniel Adair with Nickelback and said that he was looking for some microphones and tried to place an order via an email.”

The 45-year old man said he want to write a letter to the Nickelback drummer to apologize for his actions. He’s been released from jail the same night on a bail of 18.750 dollar!
