Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder Honours Tom Petty With ‘Room At The Top’ Performance At Oscars

Yesterday, the 90th annual Academy Awards were hosted at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles.
Pearl Jam’s lead singer and guitarist Eddie Vedder attended as well, but not just as a spectator.

He was there to perform for the Oscar’s ‘In Memoriam Segment’, a moment where the Oscar telecast takes a moment to pay tribute Hollywood’s greats who passed away.

He performed Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers’ ‘Room At The Top’ from their 1999 record ‘Echo’ to commemorate Tom Petty who passed away October last year.
