Green Day thrilled fans at Parque Estadio Nacional in Santiago, Chile, on August 30 during their The Saviors Tour. They performed Haushinka, a rare track from their 1997 album Nimrod, for the first time in nearly 30 years. The song was played 10 songs into their setlist, surprising South American fans.

The band shared their excitement on social media, stating, “From Berkeley to Santiago… Haushinka lives!!! First time playing this one since ’97.” Green Day have been including unexpected songs from their catalog on this tour, delighting fans with deep cuts.

In a recent interview, frontman Billie Joe Armstrong said they enjoy adding surprises like Going To Pasalacqua or 2000 Light Years Away to their setlists. These choices create memorable moments for fans. He also mentioned that after The Saviors Tour ends, Green Day plan to take a break to rest after a successful run.

The Santiago setlist included hits like American Idiot, Holiday, and Boulevard Of Broken Dreams, alongside Haushinka and other classics. A few nights earlier in Peru, Green Day also played Redundant in full for the first time since 2001.
