Andrew Lincoln To Leave ‘The Walking Dead’ In Season 9
The news was shared by Entertainment Weekly earlier today and has shocked fans of the show worldwide. Until now, officer Rick Grimes survived everything the show has thrown his way, from zombies to relentless other groups of people.
Andrew Lincoln himself has shared something about the first episode of the 9th season as well, sharing the following after the finale of the 8th season.
”I can’t wait to see this next episode. It’s really interesting. It’s very different in a good way. In an exciting way. It’s more reminiscent of the pilot than any other season that we’ve embarked on, which makes me very happy. It’s a good time for it. It’s a really exciting time for it. I feel like season 1. It’s a big year, and I’m excited for it.”
Not only Andrew Lincoln will be making his exit after just 6 episodes into the upcoming season, it appears that Lauren Cohan (or Maggie Greene) will also be making an exit after six episodes.
