Hot Milk are back with big news— the UK pop-punk band has officially announced their second full-length album, Corporation P.O.P, set for release on June 267h via Music For Nations. Alongside the announcement, the band has dropped a brand-new single, 90 Seconds To Midnight giving fans a taste of what’s to come.

The new album follows their 2023 debut album A Call To The Void. According to the band, Corporation P.O.P is a bold, satirical take on consumer culture, reflecting the chaos and excess of modern life.

In a statement, co-vocalist Han Mee described the album as “our most self-assured and honest work yet,” promising a mix of “chaotic fun and existential dread” wrapped in the band’s signature sound.

About the new song, she said:

“The doomsday clock is nearing midnight and this frantic song sets the mood for the oncoming nuclear winter… We wanted to punch you proper in the face with this, this balls to the wall little riffy boy comes bounding at you relentlessly. Lyrically we took inspiration from 17th century philosopher Rousseau and the poet John Betjemen with his poem ‘Slough’.  Rousseau set out that humanity would never be free as we create our own shackles. In this case, we’ve created our own demise. Where as Betjemens poem takes this notion of demise and laughs at it, inviting the nukes in “come friendly bombs”…. Let’s set the gaff on fire and start again.”

Corporation P.O.P is available for pre-order now, with more singles expected to drop in the coming months. Check out 90 Seconds To Midnight below and let us know what you think of Hot Milk’s new era!
