Lamb of God drummer Chris Adler will no longer be attending the North American tour with Slayer in the upcoming months. This tour will be the second leg of Slayer’s North American tour.

On Thursday, the band announced Adler’s absence via Facebook in a short, vague message explaining that “unforseen circumstances” are to blame. However, the band did state that they expect to work with Adler again in the near future. Lamb of God’s full Facebook post can be seen below.

Temporarily, Art Cruz, known for his work drumming with Prong and Winds of Plague, will be filling in for Adler. Cruz will play with Lamb of God for the duration of the North American tour. Lamb of God will serve as support for Slayer, with Anthrax, Testament, and Napalm Death featured as well.
