A24 Announce Release Date Trailer For ‘MaXXXine’ Starring Halsey

Excitement builds as A24 reveals the upcoming release of the eagerly awaited trailer for MaXXXine, the final chapter in Ti West‘s gripping X trilogy. Set for online debut on April 8th, this sequel follows the riveting narratives of X and Pearl, catapulting Mia Goth‘s character, Maxine, into the 1980s spotlight.

MaXXXine promises a cinematic journey, opening in theaters nationwide on July 5th, 2024. The film has a star-studded cast, featuring Halsey, Elizabeth Debicki, Moses Sumney, Michelle Monaghan, Bobby Cannavale, Lily Collins, Giancarlo Esposito, and Kevin Bacon.

The plot picks up after the tumultuous events of X, tracking Maxine‘s relentless pursuit of stardom as an actress in the flamboyant 1980s Los Angeles. This installment not only continues but elevates the saga, presenting Maxine as a formidable survivor with her sights set on fame.

Mia Goth, reprising her role as Maxine, shared her enthusiasm with Variety, stating, “It’s the best script of the three by far. It’s going be the best movie of the three.” She hints at a monumental narrative with Maxine facing her most challenging and thrilling escapades yet.

“It’s the biggest story of the three with the highest stakes and Maxine has gone through so much at this point. So when we find her in this new world, she’s just a force to be reckoned with and she goes through some pretty wild adventures.”
