Netflix Announces Standalone ‘Fear Street’ Movie

Netflix is diving back into R.L. Stine‘s Fear Street universe with a new standalone movie.

Two years after the release of the Fear Street Trilogy, Scott Stuber, Head of Netflix Film, confirmed that a new Fear Street movie is in the works:

 “Obviously, there’s a lot of books. There’s one stand-alone that we’re working on right now that we’re once again trying to get the script right, but I like it very much, and so does the team. So I feel like if we can get that script right there would be a great kind of extension of that franchise.”

The previous trilogy, released in the summer of 2021, weaved a chilling narrative across different time periods.
