Disney Confirms ‘Hocus Pocus 3’ Development

Disney fans are eagerly awaiting the third installment of the beloved Hocus Pocus franchise. Earlier this year, Disney officially announced that Hocus Pocus 3 is in the works, with Anne Fletcher returning to direct and Jen D’Angelo back to write the script.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Jen D’Angelo revealed that the team is in the story development phase, exploring new ideas and characters. The possibilities for the next installment seem endless, especially as they’ve only scratched the surface of Hannah Waddingham‘s mysterious mother witch.

Hocus Pocus 2 was a streaming sensation, setting the stage for more projects in the franchise. Producer Adam Shankman hinted at potential spinoffs, centering on the sequel’s new characters. Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy are expected to return for Hocus Pocus 3.
