Throwing it back to the legendary 2011 Honda Civic Tour, a moment that remains etched in the memories of fans.

Amidst the iconic eras of My Chemical Romance and blink-182, Gerard Way stepped in for a historic night.

With Tom DeLonge under the weather, Way joined blink-182 onstage in Michigan on September 11th, 2011. He took over DeLonge‘s vocal parts on the track First Date, sporting his signature Danger Days look.

This unforgettable collaboration reminded us of the magic of live music and left us yearning for more. Matt Johnson from Matt and Kim also pitched in by singing DeLonge’s parts on Always.

The setlist was a trip down memory lane, featuring classics like I Miss You, What’s My Age Again?, and All The Small Things.

Check out a video of the performance below and here’s to hoping for more magical onstage moments like this in the future!
