It is still a while away, but there is more information about the next instalment in the A Quiet Place franchise.
The movie, which is intended to be a spin-off prequel, will be called A Quiet Place: Day One, and according to Deadline, Alex Wolff (Hereditary) has joined the cast this week.
He will join the previously announced Lupita Nyong’o (Us) and Joseph Quinn (Stranger Things).
It will be directed by Michael Sarnoski (Pig) and is scheduled to be released theatrically on March 8, 2024.
The plot of the movie won’t be about the Abbott family, but this storyline will eventually get its third movie and become a trilogy, according to John Krasinski. It is however based on an idea by Krasinski, who will produce together with Michael Bay, Andrew Form and Brad Fuller
