Slipknot Release Heavy New Single ‘The Chapeltown Rag’

Slipknot are back with a new look and a brand new song, marking the first new music since the band’s 2019 release ‘We Are Not Your Kind’.

The new single goes by the name ‘The Chapeltown Rag’ and is once again incredible, as we’ve come to expect from the 9-headed collective.

When asked about the track, vocalist and frontman Corey Taylor shares the following:

It’s a punisher man. It’s classic Slipknot. And it’s frenetic. But lyrically, it’s coming from a point of talking about the various manipulations that can happen when social media meets media itself. And the different ways that these manipulations can try to pull us in different directions, in the fact that we’re all becoming addicts to it, which is very, very dangerous.
