New Spongebob Squarepants Movie Gets Title And Release Date

According to Comicbook.com, the upcoming Spongebob Squarepants movies will be called ‘The SpongeBob Movie: It’s a Wonderful Sponge’ and it is set to hit the theaters on July 22, 2020.

This movie will be the third of Spongebob movies and Paul Tibbitt will direct it.
The film was originally set to release August 1st, 2019, with the name being The SpongeBob Movie’, but was pushed back by Paramount and the date was then changed to July 31, 2020, now July 22nd.
