YUNGBLUD Announces New Double Album ‘Idols’

YUNGBLUD, also known as Dominic Harrison, is set to release the first part of his fourth album, Idols, on June 20th 2025.

The 27-year-old artist recorded the project in Leeds with producers Matti Schwartz and Bob Bradley. After feeling disconnected during his 2022 self-titled album, YUNGBLUD says Idols is his most honest work yet.

“I wanted to make a project that didn’t focus on singles or anything else except feeling and world-building… A project with no limitations.”

“We turn to others for an identity before turning to ourselves. Self-belief, self-reclamation, self-evolution and change. As we grow up, we lose our belief in magic and mystery. We begin to rationalise everything; our cage walls build up.”

“We compare ourselves to 15 different people before we’ve even had our breakfast.”

Inspired by classic rock and Britpop, the album promises a bold, raw sound that reflects his personal journey. Fans can look forward to hearing his new music soon!

YUNGBLUD Announces New Free London Show After Return

YUNGBLUD has announced a surprise free concert in London at Scala tomorrow, on March 21st, 2025. Tickets were available online and were quickly claimed, but you can join the waitlist for tickets to the show here.

The concert announcement comes after the release of his latest single, Hello Heaven, Hello. The song is an ambitious nine-minute track that represents a fresh start for him. He described it as a way of saying goodbye to the past and looking forward to the future: “‘Hello Heaven, Hello’ is a journey of self-reclamation—a goodbye to the past and how you may have known or perceived me before, and a ‘hello’ to the future and where I’m going. It’s an adventure that is sonically more ambitious than ever before—a journey that is meant to be played in its entirety, never holding back or allowing its imagination to be filtered.”

Furthermore, he said: “Rock music is in my DNA. It’s the first genre I was ever exposed to; I grew up in a guitar shop with my Dad and my Grandfather. Rock music helped me find an identity as a human being.
