Poppy is stepping into the gaming universe with the announcement of her very own immersive Fortnite experience, Poppy Secret Run.
Developed in collaboration with Paris-based studio SoWhen?, the interactive event launches on October 23 and will run for a full month through November 23. Built around her track Time Will Tell, the custom experience features markerless motion-capture technology to translate Poppy’s studio performance directly into her in-game avatar.
Beyond the main gameplay run, players can access exclusive content, including a performance-only mode focusing entirely on the concert without gameplay elements, as well as locked doors revealing never-before-told stories from Poppy herself.
Speaking on the creative ambition and technical detail behind bringing the virtual experience to life, developers SoWhen? shared:
“‘Poppy Secret Run’ is an interactive musical journey hosted exclusively on Fortnite. As players make choices, the world responds and reveals a distinct path. Poppy’s stage presence was kept intact and infused into her in-game character… every rise, flip, and collapse lands on the beat.”
Poppy Secret Run will be available for free across all platforms hosting Fortnite starting October 23.
