Ice Nine Kills are teaming up with Art the Clown once again, this time providing the official soundtrack for Universal Studios Hollywood’s new Terror Tram Starring Art The Clown at this year’s Halloween Horror Nights.
The iconic backlot experience will see Art the Clown highjack the Terror Tram with a blood-soaked bag of presents, realizing too late that it’s not yet Christmas. To set the mood, Ice Nine Kills have crafted brand new, dark reworkings of classic Christmas songs specifically for the attraction, which will run on select nights from September 3 through November 1.
The collaboration marks the next chapter in the band’s ongoing relationship with the Terrifier franchise, following their hit track A Work Of Art, which featured in Terrifier 3 and starred David Howard Thornton.
Frontman Spencer Charnas expressed his excitement about bringing the worlds of horror and music together at the theme park:
“We are forever honoured that Terrifier writer/director Damien Leone and his team invited us to play in their sandbox of bloodshed. Art himself, David Howard Thornton, killed it in the ‘A Work of Art’ music video, and we’ve had Damien and several of his cast members at our Silver Scream Cons every year so far. Halloween Horror Nights is among our favourite destinations each season, and our fans love it, too. This is yet another natural step forward in our unnatural world of horror.”
