Spider-Man To Maybe Leave The Marvel Cinematic Universe
Yes, you read it right. Spider-Man might leave the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
When Disney took over the Marvel franchise, they tried to work out a deal to help fund new Spider-Man movie(s) that are still on the schedule of the MCU.
However, according to Deadline so far Sony has turned down everything and since then, Marvel president Kevin Feige has decided to walk away from Spider-Man.
Then again, according to io9, a Sony representative said it’s their belief this dispute is simply over a producer credit and negotiations are ongoing.
I guess we will just have to wait and see.
