Blink-182’s Travis Barker Auctions Iconic Drum Kit
Travis Barker, drummer of Blink-182, is setting the music world abuzz by auctioning off his iconic drum kit. The custom white and red vinyl DW Designer wrapped kit, recently featured in the music video for Edging, is now available for bidding through the collectibles company, Trophy.
This drum set isn’t just any ordinary piece of equipment; it’s steeped in music history. Used in select tracks on Blink-182’s latest album One More Time…, the kit has also accompanied Barker in projects with artists like Kenny Hoopla, JXDN, and Willow. Its unique setup includes Zildjian cymbals, a custom crash, 16-inch high hats, Remo drumheads, and a Black Nickel over Brass Snare, making it a prized piece for collectors and fans alike.
The auction is set to be a highlight for music enthusiasts, with the kit fully documented to assure its authenticity and rich musical heritage. Prospective buyers have until April 22nd to place their bids via the Trophy website, marking an exciting opportunity to own a piece of music history.
This collaboration between Barker and Trophy is not a first-time venture. Previously, the duo partnered to offer a range of tour-used, show-played items during Blink-182’s last tour, including Barker’s blood-stained tour worn Vans, which sold out within 24 hours.
The drum kit’s specifications are as detailed as its history:
- Tom: 9″x12″
- Snare: 5.5″x14″, Black Nickel over Brass
- Floor Tom: 14″x16″
- Bass Drum: 18″x22″
