“The Hunger Games” Gets Prequel Novel & Movie

After almost 4 years, we are finally getting some "The Hunger Games" news.

The Hunger Games is going to get a prequel novel and the movie for it has been announced already aswell.

Scholastic has tweeted the possible cover for the novel, named Untitled Panem Novel", by Suzanne Collins and announced the release date: the 19th of May, 2020.

Lionsgate chairman Joe Drake has unveiled his excitement for the novel and a new movie with it in a statement:

“As the proud home of the Hunger Games movies, we can hardly wait for Suzanne’s next book to be published. We’ve been communicating with her during the writing process and we look forward to continuing to work closely with her on the movie.”

The novel will be based 64 years before the original books and movies.
