Director Confirms “The Greatest Showman” Sequel Is In Production

In an interview with the Sun, “The Greatest Showman” director Michael Gracey has confirmed that a sequel to the movie is officially in the works.

“When a movie becomes as big a success as this, it’s only natural there is demand for a sequel.
So those discussions have started and we are working on one right now.

There were huge doubts about it for a very long time and some backers withdrew their money.”

Hugh Jackman already expressed his feelings towards a sequel earlier this year and said he would be open to it.

Together, Jackman and Gracey started the whole thing and even though it was difficult to get it off the ground, it is now officially happening!
