Blink-182 were supposed to headline the much-hyped Fyre Festival this weekend and the next on the Friday. The festival is held in the Bahamas and was supposed to be very cutting edge. However, Blink-182’s cancellation is just one of the many things that are going terribly wrong for the festival and its guests.

As the festival is on the Bahamas, many of the ticket packages included trips to and from the festivalsite. Logistical details have been given but very poorly and more and more posts from festival attendees are coming in that they’re unable to fly to Exumas.

Other people who have reached the festivalsite are complaining that the festival grounds were not ready for attendees yet. This festival is one of the most expensive festivals ever held and the biggest VIP upgrade would set you back 250.000 (yes, you read that right).

The situation is ongoing and if something of interest happens, we’ll make sure to inform you. Below you can check out Blink-182’s message giving the reason why they’ve decided to last-minute cancel this show.

UPDATE: Fyre Festival has posted an update on their social media, stating that they’re working towards solutions. Everyone at the festival sites can go to the ‘Blue House’ for assistance, while people who are yet to fly to Exuma have been informed that that won’t be happening. Their tickets will be refunded. The entire statement the festival made can be seen below.
