This year’s Halloween edition of Jimmy Kimmel Live was truly something else…

Guest hosted by no other than Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl, dressed up as former TV show host David Letterman (including the beard), the format took turn after turn, each one being equally unexpected and entertaining.

One of the guests on the show was actress Kristen Bell, or going by her Halloween costume Magnum PI’s Thomas Magnum. During the interview, Grohl explained to her that his children love her role of Anna in the 2013 Disney success “Frozen”, claiming that if they were to perform a song together right there and then, he would “become the coolest dad”.

Bell instantly agreed which opened up the stage for something you probably never thought you’d ever see: An energetic mash-up of the sweet “Do You Want To Build A Snowman” from “Frozen” and the Metallica classic “Enter Sandman”.

To make things even better, Alice Cooper appeared on the show as well for both an interview and a closing medley of some of his classics performed by Cooper himself and Foo Fighters.

Grohl managed to sum up the entire spectacle with these words: “I can’t believe I get to dress up like David Letterman and interview Alice Cooper.”

You can check out the interviews with Kristen Bell and Alice Cooper here.

We have also linked the videos of the performances of the night for you below, so get comfy and enjoy the ride!
