Biffy Clyro Are Working On Two Albums

Biffy Clyro will return in a very big way this year. It appears the band is not working on just one record, but two are actually in the making. In a recent interview the band’s frontman had with Kerrang!, he shared that two records are currently in the process of being created.

The first new album is for a movie, which’ll be based on the songs on this record. After that amazing concept is finished, the band will continue with their own new record, which’ll follow up the band’s latest record “Ellipsis”, which came out back in 2016.

“We’re working on two records! One is for a movie directed by Jamie Adams, based around the songs on an album we’re making. Unfortunately, timing-wise this has impacted our Ellipsis companion record, because there aren’t enough days in the year! The film will be named after the record and will share some dialogue and lyrics. The record will influence the film and then feed back to the music. It’s an unusual way to make a record, and that’s why I’m buzzing about it – it’s a different way to feel inspired. It will be out later in 2018, and then it’ll be Biffy opus eight!”
