The Inkcarceration Music And Tattoo Festival, which is taking place in Mansfield, Ohio from July 13 through July 15, is not your typical festival for a variety of reasons.
For one, its location is The Ohio State Reformatory, which was one of the essential set locations for the Oscar-nominated “The Shawshank Redemption” (1994). There will be tours of the building throughout the festival weekend.
Aside from live music performed on two stages by artists such as Rise Agaist, A Day To Remember, Bush, Black Label Society, Of Mice & Men and more, there will also be over 70 booths of tattoo artists and a circus sideshow featuring fire breathing, sword swallowing, acrobats and more.
