Krist Novoselic Joins Foo Fighters On Stage
You probably know the meme of “Dave Grohl looking like Nirvana’s drummer without his beard”, but we all know that’s because he is!
At the show he started the intro of the following song with this:
“Back in the day, I had this song that I thought might be kind of cool and we were in our friend Barrett’s studio … no we weren’t, we were at Robert Lang’s studio. And we had nothing to do all day long. I was like, ‘I got an idea…’ and we recorded this song together. It wound up on the first Foo Fighters record. It’s called ‘Big Me’ and it sounds like this.”
Once he started the song, he was joined by Krist Novoselic, with whom he wrote the song, but was also the bassist of Nirvana.
Another one of Nirvana’s members is Foo Fighters guitarist Pat Smear.
So if you were at that show, you got to see the living members of Nirvana reunite.
