A Perfect Circle have released their second new single of the year, To Whom It May Concern.
The track follows up their previous single Starless, which recently climbed to the #1 spot on Active Rock radio. Written earlier this year and produced by guitarist Billy Howerdel at his Lankershim Ranch Studio in Studio City, California, the track features mixing by Matty Green (U2, Florence + The Machine) and percussion work from longtime collaborator Josh Freese.
Reflecting on the record’s immediate impact and teasing what lies ahead, Howerdel shared:
“It’s exciting to finally get some new music out into the world, and seeing ‘Starless’ reach #1 at rock radio this week has made it even sweeter! The outpouring of support is so very much appreciated. ‘To Whom It May Concern’ is next up! More to come.”
Frontman Maynard James Keenan also expressed his excitement as the band prepares to hit the road for upcoming live dates alongside his other project, Puscifer:
“Very much looking forward to pulling double duty through Canada with A PERFECT CIRCLE and PUSCIFER. Been way, way too long.”
