Shinedown Announce 2026 World Tour & New Album Details

Shinedown have shared exciting news about their upcoming plans for 2026. The band has officially announced a new studio album titled Ei8ht and a large world tour to support the release.

The new album, Ei8ht, is scheduled to arrive on May 29. It will be the eighth studio record from the group and follows their 2022 album Planet Zero. To give fans a taste of the new music, Shinedown also released a new song called Safe and Sound. This follows other recent tracks like Dance, Kid, Dance and Three Six Five.

Frontman Brent Smith said the band worked very hard on this album for over a year. He gave special praise to bandmate Eric Bass for his work as a producer and musician on the project.

The Dance Kid Dance Act II World Tour will start on May 13 in Wisconsin. The tour will visit many cities across North America, including stops in Ohio, Texas, and Ontario, before heading to Europe and the UK later in the year.

Several other bands will join Shinedown on various dates of the tour. These guest artists include:

  • Coheed and Cambria
  • Black Stone Cherry
  • From Ashes to New
  • Those Damn Crows
  • DJ Rock Feed

Tickets for the North American shows are on sale now via the official website! European tickets will be available starting February 27th.
