!!! WARNING: SPOILER FOR SEASON 2 EPISODE 21 !!!

If you have seen yesterday’s Riverdale episode, it must have shook you as much as it did us.
At the end of the episode you see Jughead Jones in the arms of FP, a lot of blood and a look in his father’s eyes, indicating that he is no longer breathing.

There is one episode left of this season, in which we very much hope to still see Jughead, but Cole Sprouse, who plays Jughead, has tweeted a major hint that may indicate otherwise,

Yesterday, he tweeted that he is grateful and he thanked the show.
This very much sounds like a goodbye…

Earlier this year, he also tweeted “Congrats to the amazing cast and crew of #riverdale for a season 3!”, also indicating that he is no longer part of that particular cast and crew.

Of course, we don’t want to jump to any conclusion, but let’s just say, this makes the wait for the new episode feel even more like hell than usually.

Check out both of Sprouse’s tweets below and let us know what you think.

Grateful, thank you #riverdale
