Evanescence and Gunship have joined forces for a fresh spin on Afterlife. The track first came out earlier this year as part of the Devil May Cry soundtrack for the Netflix animated series. This new version mixes in Gunship‘s 80s-style electronic sounds to make it more upbeat and exciting, perfect for gaming fans.
Amy Lee from Evanescence shared her thoughts: “We’ve been looking for an excuse to work with Gunship for too long. I couldn’t be more excited about this dark new version of Afterlife. Being a part of the Devil May Cry series has been an honor and too much fun. See you at the Game Awards!”
The collab is part of the Spotify Singles series tied to The Game Awards.
