Pop-punk legends Good Charlotte are stirring up excitement with signs of new music on the horizon, their first since the 2020 single Last December. Twin brothers Joel and Benji Madden recently shared cryptic posts on social media, suggesting that “something’s happening” for the band. Fans are buzzing with anticipation, speculating that the group is working on their eighth studio album, following 2018’s Generation Rx.

The band, known for hits like Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous and The Anthem, has been dropping hints about a music video shoot, fueling rumors of an imminent release. This comes as Good Charlotte prepares for a busy live schedule, including a performance at Welcome to Rockville on May 15th, 2025, and shows in Brazil and the U.S.

Reflecting on their legacy, the Madden brothers have previously ranked Generation Rx as one of their strongest works, with Benji calling it their “most cohesive” album and Joel emphasizing the band’s growth and authenticity.
