Netflix is currently testing new subscriptions, which are way cheaper than the current options. This test is currently being run in Asia, but if the test appears to be successful there, chances are they will enroll this test on more places across the globe.

So how does the test work? Netflix is adding a new subscription option to the existing list. This new option has a cost lower than 4 dollar.

So, what does this option entail? With this new subscription, you’ll be able to stream Netflix on mobile devices only, meaning you are not able to stream on any TV, Playstation, Xbox, computers, laptops but only on phones and tablets. In addition, you won’t be able to stream your favourite shows in HD.

The test started popping up in Malaysia earlier this week.

What do you think of this new subscription form? Is it something you’d be interested in?
