Bullet For My Valentine are set to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their groundbreaking debut album, The Poison, with a special reissue scheduled for release on November 29th. The album, which has been meticulously remastered for vinyl, will be available in a range of limited and exclusive editions, offering fans a fresh way to experience the iconic record.
Since its release nearly two decades ago, The Poison has solidified its place as a cornerstone in heavy metal, earning Bullet For My Valentine a devoted fan base and a prominent spot in the metal world. Upon its original release, the album peaked at Number 21 on the UK charts, marking the start of the band’s rapid ascent in the music industry.
Reflecting on the upcoming reissue, frontman Matt Tuck expressed his amazement at the album’s enduring legacy: “I honestly can’t believe it’s been 20 years since the release of The Poison, and what an incredible 20 years it’s been. I feel so proud of what we’ve achieved as a band in the last two decades and it all started with that debut album. The Poison is such an important part of our lives musically and personally, and we know the massive impact it had on the metal world on a global level.”
