Twenty One Pilots Give Explanation Of Why ‘Regional At Best’ Doesn’t Exist

Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun are doing a live stream in order to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of Vessel.

They are doing live performances of songs from the album, sharing stories from that time as well as a lot of behind-the-scenes videos.

The duo has also given us an explanation of why they feel like the 2011 album Regional At Best “doesn’t exist”.

The record was the first one with drummer Josh Dun and after signing a record deal with Fueled By Ramen after, the album was discontinued.

This is actually part of the reason, as it was released in the midst of the deal signing. The label asked if they wanted to release a re-mastered version of Regional At Best. But in the time between the album and the signing, they had written more songs since then. So they pulled some songs from Regional At Best to be a part of Vessel.

The album was released to have something for people to buy at shows, according to Josh Dun.
