In 2017, the movie Happy Death Day released and was a big success. Big enough for the studios to come up with a second installment for the franchise.

The sequel, called “Happy Death Day 2U” was scheduled to have its theatrical release on the 14th of February, 2019, but due to the Parkland shootings happening on the same date last year, Universal Studios were asked to reconsider.

Universal Studios has agreed to move the release date for this very reason, and the theatrical release will now take place on the 13th of February instead.

In addition, the movie won’t be showing in Parkland and surrounding areas.

Check out the trailer for the movie below and let us know whether you are planning on seeing the movie in theaters.
