New Netflix series ‘The Queen’s Gambit’, starring Anya Taylor‑Joy, has broken a Netflix record.

In its first 28 days, 62 million households watched the show, making it the streaming service’s biggest scripted limited series.

It also made the Top 10 in 92 countries and it ranked number 1 in 63 countries.

The novel by Walter Tevis that it was based on has entered The New York Times bestseller list, 37 years after its release.

Another fun fact related to the show is that Google searches for “How To Play Chess” have hit a nine-year peak.
