Tegan And Sara Discuss Hayley Williams Covering Their Track “Nineteen”

As you may be be aware of, Hayley Williams is covering Tegan And Sara’s classic track “Nineteen”, as part of the celebration the duo has going on for the 10-year anniversary of their record “The Con”. Besides Hayley Williams, also PVRIS’ Lynn Gunn will make a contribution to this record’s cover compilation.

In a recent interview, on which the focus lays with this upcoming cover compilation, Tegan and Sara were asked about Hayley Williams. Here’s what they shared on Williams as a person:

“We absolutely love Hayley. We both have tremendous respect for her as an artist but also as a person. She’s truly as wonderful and kind as you expect her to be. We toured together in 2009, and she was extremely generous and supportive and down to Earth,”

As stated above, Hayley Williams has taken on the duo’s track “Nineteen”.
