When Memphis May Fire came on stage the entire crowd shouted with sheer excitement and anticipation. The band put on a show for all those waiting at the Atlas Stage. At one point singer Matty Mullins said they never have time to play Miles Away at festivals but was happy they could play it at Slam Dunk, he then went on to dedicate the song to all the soldiers at war and all those that cannot be with their loved ones. The song had everyone singing especially die hard fans with Memphis May Fire shirts on.
