Although they already have a new single out, Pearl Jam have announced that the album to go along with it might not be coming for a while.

In a recent interview on the “Kyle Meredith With…” podcast for Consequence of Sound, Pearl  Jam’s bassist Jeff Ament has explained what is going on.

According to him, the band needs more time than just the usual time frame of a their recording process for two reasons:

“The one thing we have working against us is the upcoming tour, the other thing we have working against us is it takes three or four months to do a vinyl version of any record.”

However, it is pretty certain that the album will drop in 2019, which already gives us something awesome to look forward to!

You can check out the interview and stream the band’s latest single “Can’t Deny Me” below.
