Netflix Confirms When “Stranger Things” Season 3 Will Release

Earlier this month, Netflix was teasing when “Stranger Things” season 3 is going to release and we’re going to have to wait a little bit longer than we thought and are used to.

They posted a small video/commercial on the Stranger Things Twitter account about a mall called “Starcourt Mall”, which is coming to Hawkins, Indiana.

In the commercial we can see Steve working at an icecream shop, “Scoops Ahoy!”.
At the end of the commercial it says that the mall is coming to Hawkins NEXT SUMMER.

Does this mean we will have to wait an entire year still?
We hoped not, but now Netflix has confirmed the third season is going to air in summer, 2019.

At the Television Critics Association’s summer press tour, Netflix’s vice president of original content, Cindy Holland said: 

“It’s a handcrafted show. The Duffer brothers and Shawn Levy have worked really hard, and they understand the stakes are high. They want to deliver something bigger and better than what they did last year. And so they really want to take the time to get it right.”

She also said that there will be more special effects in this season.

Well, if they want to take the time, we know that it will be worth it!​
